“The Narcissist Playbook: Empathy Not Included” has been a work in progress for 5 years now. In the meantime, the director (Mark Vicente), producer (Scott Altomare), and Richard Grannon are spanning the globe while collecting donations from the gullible.
The “documentary” is now a conspiracy theory: Mark, who calls himself an “empath”, is taking down the narcissists, psychopaths, and sociopath “demons” in Hollywood. There are “threats” and “enemies” and “physical violence”. This guy is seriously creepy.
His “film” has been rejected by 28 (!!!) film festivals and all platforms (Netflix included). This typically happens when there’s too much defamation and too little evidence.
The film is shaping out to be a hit piece:
At first, I thought that the target is Sam Vaknin. Grannon is his number 1 public enemy and Vicente is Grannon’s business partner.
But then, they posted something on the website of the Semel Institute about an investigation into “therapist misconduct” and Vaknin is not a therapist as he makes clear everywhere. So, now I am not sure who they have in mind.

Grannon misrepresents himself as a psychologist (he is not), not to mention his shady past, and rumors about abusive dalliances with female fans. Vicente is a former senior member of a criminal sex cult. One of their backers is an Azeri (Samira Javadova) who is implicated in money laundering on an epic scale:
This begins to look more like a crime syndicate than a documentary LOL.
So, let’s see who do we have in this “documentary”:
Mark Vicente who turned state witness (sorry, “whistleblower”) to avoid a lengthy prison term for co-leading a sex cult. A man who spent most of his wretched adult life in cults for the brain dead.

All of the above demonizing people diagnosed with NPD, a mental illness, labeling them “evil monsters”, laughing all the way to the bank (they hope), leveraging the real pain and hurt of people. Callous and cynical. Truly evil.
As to the alleged documentary, it begins to resemble a scam:
5 years in the making
Repeated requests for donations with nothing to show for it
Garbled teasers and trailers which are as incoherent as the Vicente
No E and O insurance
No disclaimers (”these allegations have not been proven in a court of law” and such).
